The Department of Statistics was established on August 3, 2018, under the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Universitas Syiah Kuala. The department offers both the Bachelor’s Degree Program (S-1) in Statistics and the Master’s Degree Program (S-2) in Statistics.

Expertise in using R or Python for data analysis, with the ability to perform DataFrame queries for effective data cleaning and processing.

Formulating model estimation and hypothesis testing appropriately in the fields of environment and health. Applying inferential statistics in health, environmental, and biological domains.

Understanding Microeconomics and Macroeconomics concepts using verbal, graphical, and mathematical approaches.

Identifying and explaining the theories, legal foundations, and discourses underlying the use of data and statistics in government, public sector governance, and the public policy cycle.
