Bachelor of Statistics
The Bachelor of Statistics Study Program at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Syiah Kuala University, was established on August 24, 2012, under Establishment Decree Number 279/E/O/2012, and began offering the Bachelor of Statistics Program in the 2013/2014 Academic Year.

Statistics Student Association (HIMASTA)
The Statistics Student Association of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Syiah Kuala or HIMASTA FMIPA USK serves as a platform for student community-building, aspirations, and creativity. The organization was established on Saturday, November 1, 2015, during the First Grand Assembly of the Statistics Student Association and was officially ratified through Decree No. 01 on October 6, 2016. The organization aims to foster strong collaboration among Statistics students at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Syiah Kuala, as well as with external institutions. It also strives to develop itself as a dynamic platform for student activities and a communication forum that encourages engagement and growth. Additionally, the organization is committed to enhancing the quality of Statistics students by strengthening their expertise, skills, and professional competence, while promoting dedication and contribution to the field of Statistics.
Statistics Explore
Statistics Explore commonly known as Stat Explore, is an annual event organized by the Statistics Student Association (HIMASTA) of Universitas Syiah Kuala. This event aims to introduce and elevate the reputation and visibility of the Department of Statistics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, at both national and international levels. It also seeks to broaden public understanding of the utilization and application of statistical science across various fields. Additionally, Stat Explore enhances participants’ knowledge and skills related to the importance of the green economy and environmentally friendly practices through the use of data science. The event further serves to introduce the concepts and benefits of statistics and data science to the wider community, particularly in the context of sustainable economic development. Moreover, Stat Explore encourages active participation from students and the public in discussion forums and competitions while fostering collaboration and networking with other institutions that focus on environmental issues.

Study Duration
The Bachelor of Statistics Study Program consists of a learning process equivalent to 144 credit hours, which can be completed within four years. Students are entitled to earn the degree Bachelor of Statistics (S.Stat.) after obtaining a minimum of 144 credits scheduled over 8 semesters, with a maximum completion period of 14 semesters, in accordance with the established curriculum requirements.
